Ego

It erupts,
spewing molten thoughts,
words and phrases melding
in the liquid clause -
rolling out its
unstoppable tongue
accelerating from a source
soon forgotten
it envelops, encases,
erases the unknown
until inherent limitation
causes flow to slow,

and it cools,

coalesces,

cradling change in its pores.
